When Eva was born I gifted her a onesie and she sported it like the JP urban hipster she was.

For her Bat Mitzvah I felt it only fitting that I take it one step further and make her a quilt with some of my fabric.
I was struggling for inspiration when a trip to a local quilt show (with a friend of Eva’s) inspired me such that I went home and started playing with my fabrics.
In truth it took a while for it to all come together. Meanwhile, I leaned into the guidance from Emily Post, etiquette socialite, that one has a year after the celebration to send a gift. [Originally it was guidance for weddings. I now see that this guidance has been updated to 3 months. While my personal interpretation expands it to all joyous milestones, I simultaneously hold to the old timeline.]
