
When I start a scrap quilt project I don’t always know where it’s going.
This one began with long strips cut into a set of 4 squares.
Marci is one of my oldest and dearest friends from high school and we both love doing crafty projects. We bonded senior year in Mr. Palma’s calculus class. I knew at some point I would want to make her a quilt. Sometimes starting a project without telling the recipient is a great way to take off the pressure. While I would make vague references to it along the way, this project took me a year and a half.
